Glucosamine relieves pain and heals damaged connective tissue.
When we add readily absorbable Glucosamine to their diet, we significantly increase the amount available to an animal’s body for repairing and maintaining connective tissue health and integrity.

Here’s an amazing heartwarming story from our happy customer Sarah and what she had to say about this product:
I want to share my story with you and why I bought this product. In 2013, I rescued some sheep in bad condition. They hadn’t been shorn in years and under all that wool was skin and bones. The ram I rescued even had a horn growing into the side of his head. I couldn’t leave them behind so I loaded them in the back of my truck and brought them home. They were my very first sheep and the ram I absolutely fell in love with. The ewe he came with was very timid but sweet none the less. In 2014, I moved away, unable to take the sheep with me so my parents kept them. They decided to rehome my sheep a few months later. I was devastated my sweet ram was no longer in my life.
Fast forward to 2019, I moved back to be with my family 2 years ago. I have my own house and property, put up a fence and got myself some pet sheep! After getting them, I realized no sheep would ever replace my sweet ram Aries. On a whim 2 weeks ago, I posted a picture of him on Facebook asking if anyone knew where he was. I honestly didn’t think anyone would respond but the next morning I get a message: “I think I have your ram.” I jumped in my truck and went to go see him. I got to the farm and looked at him and just knew. He had the dent in his head from where the horn grew into the side of his head. It was him. I spent a few hours with him and he just laid there next to me. He remembered me. The lady who had him saw the connection I had with him and said, “I’d like you to take him home with you.” The next day I went and picked him up and brought him home.
Aries is now 9 years old and he gets to live the rest of his years with me.
I few days after he came home I noticed he was very stiff, especially his back legs. My resources for geriatric sheep care are very limited where I live. And then I happened upon the Holistic Horse and saw the glucosamine powder specific for sheep. I ordered it and started giving it to him. Within just a few days, He is a brand new sheep. He actually sprints to me in the morning for his breakfast now. I can’t believe how much this powder has helped him. You have a customer for life and I will never be able to thank you enough for making my old man feel young again.
Thank you, Sarah

We have an 11-year-old Suffolk Hampshire cross ewe who was healthy except for starting to limp after getting up and walking more slowly as if her front feet or legs pained her. After eliminating any problem with hoofs we decide it was something age and joint related, and I started her on two teaspoons of MSM and Glucosamine a day. After two months I noticed much improvement and she has been on the combination ever since.

We have a 3-year-old ewe that about a year and a half ago experienced trama. We don’t exactly know what happened, but the vet thought at the time she ended up with a pulled tendon in her rear leg along with hematoma of the ear and swelling of the eye (guessing she was bullied and beat up one night). It was a long slow recovery and had to be separated from the rest of the herd. We almost didn’t think she would make it. Fast forward to present, she now has issues walking “normally” and has fallen multiple times and when she falls, she cannot get up on her own from her side. The vet thinks she has arthritis, and we give her meloxicam daily along with a Thiamine shot that seems to help her with extreme temperature changes. She is a beloved pet, and we want her to live the best life possible with little discomfort. I was doing research and came upon your website. I discussed it with our vet, and she stated trying the Glucosamine and MSM wouldn’t hurt anything and there just isn’t a lot of research on rumen animals, but Glucosamine and MSM seem to work well on horses. We started both supplements around July 4th according to the package directions. Within 4 days we noticed our Clemintine’s eyes were more open and alert than we have seen before. Her rear legs seem to be moving more fluid. She hasn’t fallen and not been able to get us so far. We haven’t given her a Thiamine shot even though the heat has been crazy because she seems to be doing so much better. We also had a Chiropractic Vet come out and do an evaluation. She thinks that Clem had a broken pelvis at some point (guessing the trama from a year and a half ago). We told her about the recent Glucosamine and MSM regimen. This vet also stated if we’ve seen results no harm in keeping it up. The vet did do an adjustment on Clemintine’s neck which did seem to help her right and left head movement. She also gave us some PT things to work on to help with range of motion and strengthening certain muscles. I firmly believe the Glucosamine and MSM are helping Clem have better movement in her joints. I’ve seen her run a little. She has sass again. I also believe the Chiropractor Vet did help with her stiff neck (much like a human). So hopefully with this combination she will live a happy life with us.
